white caps

In fact, it's not windy today. It's still; it's gray. And it looks like rain is moving in — remember Christopher Robin?? Tut, tut, it looks like rain?? Not to mention Eeyore (the old gray donkey) and Piglet and Pooh and Kanga and Roo?? I haven't thought of them in the longest time ... and probably shouldn't have, as they don't belong here, not that they're hurting anything. I happen to love Winnie-the-Pooh. He was Super Son's absolute favorite, while Darling Daughter was partial to The Little Mermaid ...

Anyway, there's enough breeze to sail out there, as long as you're content to sail slowly, or to go nowhere in particular. And you don't mind seeing Ida Lewis half-dressed (oh, my!) without awnings, flags and her usual summer bustle.

Ida Lewis Yacht Club, that is.

But, issues of wind (hot air?) aside, I was thinking of another sort of white caps. And now it is raining. Best to find an open perch from which to watch and wait for better weather, or whatever else comes along, to whatever avail, as you sail, whatever that means exactly ...
